Apollo Certification Course

This one-day certification course introduces professional automotive painters and body shop technicians to the fundamentals of HVLP electric turbine spray technology. Hosted in Texas, the course provides detailed, hands-on training using Apollo’s Maxi-Miser HVLP systems — helping students transition from compressed air to electric HVLP spraying.

Throughout the day, participants will learn proper system setup, maintenance, safety procedures, and application techniques for etching primer, sealer, basecoat, and clearcoat. Ideal for body shops, mobile repair technicians, and anyone looking to improve spray efficiency, reduce overspray, and achieve a high-quality finish with modern HVLP equipment.

• Workplace safety protocols (PPE best practices)

• HVLP system setup: gun, hose, turbine

• Nozzle, needle, and air cap selection (compared to compressed air)

• Spray gun and turbine maintenance

• Booth temperature optimization for turbine systems

• Paint chemistry: reducers, mix ratios, solids content
